Info requested: Lariam and it's affects on driving

To current licensed drivers:

Does anyone have information on the side effects of Lariam on driving or motorized skills?

Do to FIA license medical requirements I would be unable to obtain a license due to having taken the drug Lariam.

I have searched everywhere and I'm currently in contact with Johns Hopkins about this. Any additional information would be deeply appreciated.

I looked it up on web md, and I wouldn't want somebody currently taking on track. Some of the side effects were seizures...

But it didn't list any long lasting effects, so I don't see why they would care as long as you're not taking it any more.
