i reused my stock head bolts, although everbody says that's bad news. no problems with it, and i've flogged it good. never really broke in the new cams/valvetrain, either. idled it for a few, drove it a bit easy for a few miles, and went on with life. flogging began within a week. no problems as of yet, and i've checked for wear and there is none, and the valves stay in clearance fine.

i re-used mine too, no problems.

i would do the tensioner and water pump also as proper maintenance so it doesnt have to get pulled apart again.

headgasket kit & water pump & tensioner = 150 (all gaskets & seals)
timing belt = 45 from dealership.

so i guess 200 for parts, thats about how much i paid, with shop discounts.

alright thats good.
head gasket - 60
intake manifold gasket - 20
timing belt - 60
tensioner - 40
water pump - 50
Total - 230
(all parts were pulled off the autozone website and just a rough estimate w/ tax)

and thats without valve seals if i need them. im not changing the valves so i didnt think i needed them.
