My check engine light has popped up and I wonder what could be the problem. I know its not the gas cap nor a loose connection. I have I/H/E and High flow cat, could it just be something with the o2 sensors? I dont want to go to the dealers because they will void my warrenty.

When did you get your mods put on? After I got my i/h/e installed my check engine light came on about two weeks later. It was the heat plate resting up against the new pipe. Just something to check out.

 

same thing happend to me this past week after installing my highflowcat, piping and exhaust. GSR-2000 what is this "heatplate" your talking about ? and where is it located ? might be that, althought the CEL code is 41 (primary oxygen sensor).

 

yea My dads Honda Accord and my car Check engie Light Come on only on the interstate. But we went and Got our cars Check 2 see what the problem could be But there was No Problem they Said. My dad when he is on the interstate it Comes on and stays on Just when he is Going up Hills. Me and him think it is where it pushes 2 much gas in When U have the Cruise on but when you Drive with the cruise off it is just fine. Or it could be the Timing on it just a little bit off. Cause mine Was and That check Light after that never Ever came on again. Hoped I helped ya out a Little LOL I have a Hard Time Explain Stuff. C-ya.

 

after my friend put in his high flow cat he got a code 65. we resetted his ECU and it was fine ever since. just check which code you have and start from there.

 

check all of your emissions equipment. my friend's canister cap snapped off, causing a check engine light.
