Default Sohc vtec or Mini-me

Stuck on which motor setup to get. mini-me A6/Z6 or jdm D15b. which would be a better setup? not looking to be super fast just want a little better than current A6(blown rings).going N/A for now

Mini me a6 would have a higher compression ratio..And is cheaper since you're only paying for the head..And its 1.6..

Only thing good about the jdm d15b vtec is the agressive cam it comes with stock..

well d15b's are cheap anyways, like 300+/- and that way you could have your a6 as back up.

i would t mini-me, that what i'm gettin ready to do this week, i just for my D16Y8 head yesterday and i'm using my stock D16A6 block. its going to be in my 90 Si hatch with my ZEX kit spraying a 55 shot!

Someone on H-T had that cam measured and it was identical to the z6.

Well i can get Z6 head with manifold for $100. but im thinking just going for the jdm D15b for now and just dropping it in after tune-up. just want a little more power for the moment until i fix up body,suspension and so on. A6 i currently have burns oil like a bitch.gonna cost about the same to rebuild block n stuff. plus i dont ALL the tools to rebuild.
