Need help to figure out approx. CR
If I put my 2000 ITR rods and pistons in a GSR block with a B16a head what will the CR be at?........Im building an all motor monster or trying too anyway....
Well, as far as I know the GSR and ITR blocks are teh same height right?
So you would have the exact same compression as a stock B18C5 engine, considering the B16A and B18C5 combustion chambers are the same.

Bear with me on this one...
My USDM ITR has a reported 10.6:1 CR from the factory and my compression gauge reads 195 lbs (average) per cylinder. I go and I drop in a set of CTR pistons and now my gauge reads 205 lbs per cylinder. Sooooo, if 10.6 is to 195 like x is to 205 then my new, calculated CR would be around 11.14:1 ???
Does this make sense to you guys or am I the only one who didn't copy off someone else on my Algebra class ??

Yea, I agree with Steve..
in my friend's LS/VTEC w/ CTR pistons, he broke two compression gauges.
Peak number on the gauge was like 310 or something.
My ITR w/ stock bottom end and 12 thou off the head reads 240psi in outer 2 cylinder, 230psi in the center two cylinders.
