What motors can you swap into the 89 accords?

 

well, for you probably a d or b series swap would be the easiest. if you want a whole lot more detail, check out http://www.3geez.com they are all about the 3rd gen accords and can give you a lot more information that us lowly h-ters can

 

d-series isn't worth it, and placeracing (the only guys that made mounts for this application) went under... the only swap you can do without much hassel is the b20a that is stock in the 85-88 accords in Japan... you can get them in the general export models, but the japanese engines have more power...

 

Go ***** to the wall and drop an H22 in that bi0tch!! Nothing says sleeper like an N/A H22 powered 3g

 

if you want an h22 accord, get at least a 4th gen...

yes... usually you'll find it in the states because an importer imported it by mistake, thinking it was the newer b20... call around and ask for the JDM accord B20... if they don't know that the accord came with one, take your business elsewhere
