Default need VAFC II help quick now!!!!!

hey guys- i gots me a problem...

i just finished wiring up my vafc about 10 minutes ago...
let me start off by saying im running an LS/vtec in a 98 LS. i have a chipped p28 with the vtec pressure switch bypassed (spliced Vtec pressure signal into vtec solenoid signal on obd conversion harness, and grounded out the other connection on the connector for the vtec oil pressure switch..) its running steady and stable.

the throttle and rev sensors work fine and are accurate.

now the problem--- It wont let me hit Vtec. when i do hit my desginated vtec point, the unit shuts off, and the only thing remaining lit is the LED in the dial.

one problem i ran into when installing it was that my pressure switch and my vtec signal are both spliced to one wire. also, in the diagram the 'vtec in' and the 'pressure switch in' are flipped such that the 'vtec in' is comming from the ecu, but the 'pressure switch in' is comming from the car's harness side.... i disregarded this, and ran it the way it made sense... this could be the problem.

i have no idea what the problem is and i have a dyno tuning appointment in the morning! any suggestions?

any help is appreciated and thank you in advance.

any suggestions?

My VAFC was acting up too. I had a loose wire, i believe that it was one of the ignition power wires.

Did you go back and check all the wiring? That would be my first guess.
If the unit isn't working the VTEC won't either.

I do think that you might have another problem with the "bypass" you did with the other wires.

right well i thought so too, but all wires are connected and it still has power even when the system shuts down. the car still runs absolutely fine (minus vtec), and the LED in the dial stays illuminated...

the way i bypassed was the correct way to bypass. all wires soldered as well. nothngs loose and nothings touching..

how do you wire this damn thinggggg

anyways, since you have an appointment tomorrow, you can probably just wait it out.

My air/fuel ratio was all over the place, and the car was running way too rich. After about 30 minutes on the dyno, i had 12 more hp to the wheels, and the car ran much better. Let those guys work there magic. hopefully its nothing too major.

becuase when wiring vtec, i opted to bypass the vtec pressure switch, and to do this, pin 14 and pin d6 (vtec solenoid signal and pressure signal) must be spliced together

well i know its nothing major like i said the car is running absolutely normal. except for that. its got to be in the wiring. the only problem is, the wiring diagram is so fucked in the wires that i stated above, and of course my bypass dilemma
