Default Need Help! Handling Related

Hey my fellow HTech's. I need some help on a problem i'm having. I just got some new tires installed today. I also got them rotated and balanced. Here's the problem... While driving at hwy speeds (70mph-80mph) my integra is very unstable. The car sways side to side, its pretty scary. Its hard to control it. I have two diffrent sets of tires on my car. I have yokohama's ES100 195/55/15 on the fronts, while my new Falkens Ziex Ze's are on the rear (same size). I'm planning to get an alignment tomorrow, so i hope that helps. My car is lowered and i need to set the toe to factory specs. Do you guys think this will help relieve this problem? Im lost, because my car has never handled like this. Thanks for any input guys, I really appreicate all the help/advice/insite i get from this site. Later

If you lowered your car and did not align it, get one soon. Especially since you have new tires now. Your caster will be out of spec since you lowered the car, this effects strait line stability, there is no adjustment for this but it sounds like your toe and camber are out as well. Caster alone will make the car darty, keep your hands on the wheel. You will need camber adjusters for the front, and a few washers will bring your rear camber back in spec.

Not sure if this is related or not.

But check to see if your tires are directional, and if they are make sure they are on the right side.

It's most likely a toe alignment issue, especially since you are lowered and weren't aligned afterwards. Non-zero toe can pull you all over the road a lot worse than normal.

Have you tried any of the ideas that people have suggested? Give people updates so you don't get the same response 238948 times. Just trying to help and a free bump, I guess.
