Default Can of Supercharged Bee's

Hey soon to supercharge, have heard it will make the exhaust uber loud. Just wondering if anyone else can back this up. I don't want to choke the exhaust system but would rather not sound like absolute ****. I know that turbos are their own silencers but also noticed that the type of sound can change dramatically from the NA drone. Does anyone have any sound clips of more "free" exhaust systems attached to supercharged honda motors? I would appreciate that or even a description. Getting ansy about every little thing now that the time is coming.

Alex

they are deff ganna sound louder than NA motors because of the increased flow going through the exhaust but i cant see them being quieter than a turbo.. no first hand experience from me but im just guessing.
btw, your avatar is sick. my uncle did the same thing to his thumb with his 357

Yeah i dont know if you have experience with lifts but The L shaped locks on either side are supposed to be disengaged with a lever on one side, the cable connecting the opposite side to the lever had snapped and I was holding it back manually. Someone called my name out in the shop and as I turned I let the lock down a little the lift caught sucked it in with my middle finger still on it ( cadilacs are heavy cars ) and I turned back to what I thought was a bruised finger and there was bone. 5 mn. before work was out and I was about to change, only came over cuz there was a new guy on the lift I needed to show him how to grease the upper ball joint fittings on the caddy. "oh the lift's broken? Lemme get that for you..."

The last shop I worked for blew up a torch one time... louder than hell inside a closed building... blew the doors off the hinges and shattered a bunch of the garage door windows. Glad I don't work for those unsafe rednecks anymore.

I am about to go supercharged myself, and am wondering if I am going to be neededing exhaust changes too. let me know if you get yours on first if it is considerably louder.

Good luck with your hand too. That **** sucks

thanks for the support on the hand. I dont know if I can drive in mass anymore, all you need is the pedals steering wheel shifter and your middle finger...I read somewhere that anything but the stock exhaust is unbearably loud, I dont know if I believe that but the thought of those stock SI tips makes me kinda horny.

When I got my custom 2.5" magnaflow done, the owner of the shop did the exhaust himself, and gave me a nice 2.5" exhaust tip instead of the 3-4" can tips... I just don't like the looks of those things.

<<<< and from the avatar, that looks like it's gotta hurt like hell right now. I just cut my finger too... same damn spot as before and all the way to the bone with serrated knife... damn CRKT for making such sharp knifes. I am not going to get stiches either did that the last time, and ended up paying 600$ for 5 stiches
