Alright, searched like mad and CANNOT find this hood....cept for the imoto which is not the one I am looking for. Who is the owner of the white ITR, with c/f front lip, and c/f vented USDM front hood??? I saw it on a post but I can't seem to find the post and LOVE the hood. It was quoted as INGS but INGS does not seem to make a USDM front c/f hood.... well at least not anymore. If the owner of this car or whoever knows the car I'm talking about or a USDM front GOOD QUALITY c/f vented hood make please tell me. Thanks alot.

I've found the VIS one and it is more the style I am looking for but I know VIS and as far as I have heard not exactly the epitomy of quality. If anyone has experiance with these please give your comments as well. thanks

I know about Benen and what not and Spoon and that when they get in accident the carbon is laid so that it will not shatter into sharp pieces. I've seen pictures of exploded carbon that shot through a busted windshield and is sharper than glass. The fitment is good on the hoods (not so sure about the body kits) but it is not laid on a strong enough epoxy resin with tight enough weave so as to actually be safe. Moreover, I am about to install header wrap but I want a hood that will vent the air passing through the radiator, so I am looking at effectiveness.

I've heard that they don't fade and that the $615 you pay is good spent but my main concern is in an accident on the track or what not. I have researched and heard good things about fitment and fade but nothing really about stress ratings. I am especially concerned with the vent due to the increased stress to the inner area of the hood.
