Default Quick question....4-2-1 headers or 4-1

For a 2000 Acura integra GSR

Would you guys recommend
4-2-1 dc sports header
or 4-1 dc sports header

A friend told me 4-2-1 will give me low end power around 4-5k rpm....and he said if you get the 4-1...youll get top end but you dont need that because you have vtec....but with a 4-1, wouldnt that be alotta top end power then? which i think is alright...and i want this for daily driven n 1/4 mile...Thanks!

So basically, can someone just break down what both sizes of header does for u?

gsr already has some good high end power so go with the 4-2-1 to help with the low end

Plus the 4-1 sits extremely low to the ground from the oil pan. I had a DC 4-1 on my GSR and I had all kinds of clearance issues.

4-2-1 for sure

when i was looking for my header for my old LS i was told

around town driving - torque - 4-2-1

high-rpm driving - high end hp - 4-1

Mugen, Spoon, JUN, Toda (i believe only make 4-1 for the GSR) something to think about

my $0.02

well i finally got to drive my girlfrieds gsr ( ya go figure she has a gsr while i have the LS) but anyway the top end was great but low end needs help so id go with the 4-2-1 header since the 4-1 IS gonna be better on top end BUT will lose power in the low end area so low end is gonna be non-existant so unless u like cruising around town at 5K get the 4-2-1 and if u really want the top end for the strip get a 4-1 and plut that on only when u go to the track
