So I've only got about 300 miles (cold weather no less) on my bike since I bought it so I haven't really had any chance encounters with the fairer sex. I know girls dig bikes but I'm married so it's not really a benefit I'm going to see and/or try to exploit. Today I was cruising around town, just to test out the new pipe (very nice btw) and had my first encounter. Riding about 30mph down the road I saw this chick, decked out in the finest pink active wear, walking towards me on my side of the street. I was looking at her but didn't go out of my way 'cause I just wasn't that interested. As I get closer I realize she's staring at me and without me even acknowledging her she waves and smiles. I waved back, smiled in my helmet and chuckled. I quickly realized the power the machine I was riding possessed. Would I use my new superpowers for good or evil?

That got me thinking about what some of you guys have had happen to you as a result of riding. We're not talking about some chick you like finally giving it up because she found out you had a bike. I'm looking more for random encounter type things. Anyone have anything interesting to share?

 

Too many stupid encounters to count. Old friends suddenly see me as the opposite sex. That's hilarious. Its kinda awkward sometimes.

 

I've had women stare at me. A couple of them were girls that weren't that fond of me, and I always wanted to pull over, offer them a ride or something, and then take off my helmet.

The only two-wheeled encounter that ended in some kind of fun was on my scooter! I brought a girl home from class and the rest was history.

 

I've always get stared at and waved at by girls almost every day.

 

Couple of gorgeous chicks in a S2000 wanted to play with me on my XZ-7...so we were ripping back and forth on an open freeway taking turns loosing each other (i let them lose me for their pleasure . We were playing back and forth and they pulled off at the same gas station as me and the passenger in the S2000 asked if she could get a ride back with me......I was currently in a relationship, too bad

I had many encounters at the beach where girls would ask for rides home or to another beach....the whole time i had my ZX-7 I was with a girl of over 3 years so i couldn't risk that....

Chicks love bikes....

Yeah many a time. Even the ones who never give me the time of day. I'm tellin myself "Don't they know it's me?". They're doin pageant waves and cheesin at the same time.
One girl (never met) kept honkin behind me at a red light, when I didn't respond she pulled along side me and said U hear my horn and talkin to u how come u don't answer, I said u don't want me and took off.
Another woman pulled up beside me, waved (I know her) and motioned for me to follow her. When I took off my helmet she was suprised it was me (she never gave me the time of day either), but from that time on she always goes out of her way to speak to me and give me a hug. Weird aint it?

Yeah i know what you mean, every time i ride girls (and some guys) stare. Ive been in a relationship for the past 3 1/2 years so i never acknowledged it before. Tomorrow im going to take my first single ride I've ever taken, we just called it quits. I have a friend that likes to get numbers. Every time we stop "ANY WARE" he macs on girls and ends up with a number 99% of the time Its all in the bike! & well the gold digging bitches!!!

hahah well good luck on that man, its preatty ez to get on a bike..however after 3.5 years in a stead relationship it might seem appealing right now but when the time comes its gonna be a differnt story

I'm not sure this qualifies here because for all they know yhou spent $5000 on a bike and drive a car that's worth less than that. Expensive cars lures gold diggers but I think bikes attract a different demographic.

 

Dude, I always get stares from the females. I usually just wave back or just smile. This also does me no good because I'm with a girlfriend that I can't ask for anything more. It's fun to flirt but will go no farther than just that. btw, were you wearing your leather chaps that day?

I was sitting on my bike in a parking lot to make a phone call yesterday and this hot girl and her crippled dad came out of Advance Auto Parts. Every time I looked at them they were starting at me but it was so much so that I got self-conscious... like my front tire was flat and I didn't even know it or something. I guess it's realistic to think they liked my bike but I'm just not used to hot girls looking at me. (sad but true admission)

most of them look at you on the bike because they think its expensive. last year some girl thought my 03 sv650s was like $20,000. lord only knows what they think a ducati goes for. if they know what a ducati is.

 

Chicks dig bikes....period! We get some kind of action everytime we go out. Its a given here in Cali. Even walking into a store with your riding jacket and a helmet will get you some play. Sometimes when i am in my car I feel like wearing my jacket and draggin my helmet with me just to get lucky!!LOL
