type s vs type r
hey my boy just go a type s and he just thinks its the **** and he was telling me how he can beat my other boys type r bolth r stock and i really dont think he can what u guys think?
is this thread helping anyone? is it tech related?
Just a warning you are going to get alot of crap for this thread.
BUT:
the type R will win assuming the driver can drive. most stock type s's run low 15's.

You're obviously very poorly informed regarding the performance potential of the RSX's power plant.

Exactly. I have a very high power n/a ITR but I know that if I would hav put this much money in to a K20 it would have much more power. I know I wouldn't have a problem with a STOCK motor RSX but I would have much respect for a fully built K20.

O I know they respond very well to simple bolt on and what not. I was just kidding, i just said that cause I really am not a huge fan of rsx's. I have ran into some rsx's with 5k in them and still pulled though. i dunno. who cares? being fast doesn't win in auto-x. drivers do.

Indeed..... But just in case you didnt see the thread posted earlier about the "sad day for an ITR"... Take a look at it and thats what trying to see which car is faster can get you..... Who cares which car is really faster or has more potential.... Street races will get you or someone else seriously hurt.... Drive the cars and enjoy them.... Don't let a big head end yours or someone else's life..... jmho

Actually, they are possible of low 14's in STOCK form.

Stock for stock, heck, even the DC5 Integra Type R don't stand a chance against a DC2R. Well, I have NEVER seen it happen at the drag events here anyways.
<-- Still doesn't get the point of drags. Once you get into it, you have to stop the fun.

I have test drove both.The type S was stock while the ITR had bolt-ons.So keep that in mind.The ITR pulled like a train compared too the type S.The type S seemed even slower than a gsr...prolly not true but was very slow.Its probably the way the cars are designed.The ITR feels faster because of the chassis...two different cars IMO
ITR=TRACK CAR
Type S= More Luxury/Speed

*sigh*
"boys", when will they grow up and learn that the Type R is supposed to turn? And that the Type S is to be driven mildly like it was desinged for. The DC5R is a complete different story
Type R > Type S
