B18C5 SWAP ON 94 CIVIC
Wassup guys what kinda harness would you use for a swap like this? i was thinking of putting in the acura harness and wire the whole thing... i heard that you will get the potential power of the B18C5 on its real harness... is this true?

and no, you won't get more power by using the other harness. can you post pics of your ride? i'm sure other honda-tech members would want to see it.

Man, you need to calm down. No one got an attitude with you. Jerk off and chill out. People just don't like readin all caps. It is harder to read, is the internet equivilant of yelling.
As far as I know, changing harnesses will do nothing different for you. As long as you have everything wired up correctly, you should be just fine.

hehe that term "hater" is funny. and to stay on topic, my friend is using the skunk2 ecu on her ITR motivated civic and it feels stronger than the stock ecu. just runs really rich at normal driving rpm's, and needs more tuning up top, but i think its a better tuning platform to start with vs. the ITR ecu.

WASSUP GUYS I JUST GOT MY SWAP A YEAR AGO AND MEN...THIS KICKS ***!! MY QUESTION IS IF ANYONE DID A SWAP LIKE I DID DID U GUYS CHANGE YOUR HARNESS? FROM WHAT I KNOW WHERE NOT REALLY GETTING THE POTENTIAL POWER OF THE TYPE-R ENGINE UNLESS WE ADD THE REAL HARNESS. RIGHT NOW IM USING A CHIPPED ECU SKUNK/MUGEN P28 5700RPM VTEC ENGAGEMENT AND 10K REV WITH UPGRADED FUEL AND CURVE FOR TYPE-R. ITS PRETTY DAMN GOOD! MY BEST RUN SO FAR WITH JUST THE BOLT-ONS IS 13.7@106 MPH. IM STILL IN THE PROCESS OF ADDING SOME MORE B SERIES STUFFS AND INTERNAL WORK. HOPEFULLY I WILL GET IT RUNNING NEXT SEASON AT LOW 12'S OR HIGH 11'S.

Go eat a dick.
[GrammAr] - basic spelling, another faculty most pick up in elementary school.
how about we tell the guy once and leave it, nit-picking everyone's posts doesn't accomplish anything.
To answer the original question - the harness you use will have no effect on the power the motor makes, but the ecu you choose will.
