Default 96 Type R rims on Prelude.... Color questions

Just picked up some 96 type r rims in 4x114.3 for my lude and it turns out that the conditon of the paint on the rims is not in that good of shape, so i will need to redo it. Basically I've decided to paint/polish these wheels but im just wondering what your opinions will be, and then i will do so. Here are the rims and the car it Will begoin on

Color choices:

Gunmetal
Gunmetal w/ polished lip
Flat Black
Gloss black
Gloss/Flat black w/ Polished lip
Re-paint white
Fully polished
White w/ polished lip

BB4's are so hot. I'd strip the wheels and powdercoat them black...or maybe ITR gunmetal.

I recently got some Volk TE-37s for my 95 that were white and scratched up. I painted them gloss black and I think it looks awesome.

Never seen this done before!

Get them professionally done, I'd say powdercoat them gunmetal and leave the red R.

Hot dawg, that'd be off the chizzle.

bah, powdercoat.. I do a good job, duplicolor paint then clear.... Im thinkin gloss black w/ polished lip... what do u think

just leave them CW, but is it me or 96 itr wheels just look too small on bb4's? the fitment just doesnt look right.

spacers would probably do the job. the one's ive seen around their wheels didn't look flush w/ the body. but kicking it out a few mm's would make it look nice. good luck

yes powdercoat white and you dont need a spacer just a little grinding on the caliper. search 4x114 conversion and there are threads that will show you where to grind down so you can fit the 96R wheels on prelude rotors and calipers

either fully polished or redone in white, that black with polished lip look on oem wheels is soooooooo played. i have s2ks gunmetal with polished lip
