I used to be an Audi owner. I was in love with european cars, Gran Turismo, and GT styled games, When I got into the import scene, I was still into big wings, big, wide wheels, ground effects, and pretty much making cars look like toys......I want to move to europe, so i can feel more free to do what I want with my car without having to listen to haters, and JDM snobs, that are not even in Japan.....when I first got in to moding hondas, it was in high school....in 1999-2000 I believe.....what I am saying is....I am in love with rexes done like this

it has the classic fender rust, the bumpers are a little crashed, the tails are EFFed......but nothing having 23432325 friends with CRXs that all removed stock things for body kits, that leave them sitting the backyard waiting for the trash, that need help with engine work that i know how to do will not solve = free parts....

i personally have grown out of the "rice" phaze for the most part....and i don't really like the whole JDM craze, Although like you i do like the EDM things on our cars, but i'd like to say that what you do to your car is up to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If thats what you want then go ahead and do it. BUT please if you must go race go to the track or something and don't ruin the reputations of the rest of us honda lovers.

do what you want man HT is just has a different vibe of people, i used to have a bodykit on my car and i got compliments all the time every where i went pretty much. i dont have a bodykit now but everybody always tells me to get one so its basically your choice i choose not to because i dont like them and it draws attention to my car..

umm man i do not like the kits that we get in the US AT ALL.. they are too funky....to round...they do not fit the oldschool 1980's transformer shape of the car.....i like those euro kits because they are smooth, and still square like the car..and i have to say the top one i posted that looke like a ferrari is HOT HOT HOT

 

about as euro as i get would be deep dished wheels, that's about all i care for, and "bad boy" hoods...

Body kits to me just seem like a waste of the Oem beauty of the car. I think at the max....lowering the car down (on some nice rubber and rims nothing to fancy) with a new paint job is about as far as i would go.....But i'm boring and an OEM guy....
All in all to each his own.....if you like two wings fucken a go for it, just as long as you got bite to back up your bark. It like having a pitbull with no teeth...

well i have a little bite...and B16 with ITR cams, 4-1 header, intake, exhaust,
I am also thinking of getting a B18C1 bottom, putting in some ITR pistons, adding a ITR IM, GSR t-body, IM spacer, ITR valve train, OBD1 injectors, cometic headgasket, adjustable cam gears, and rechipping my ECU with a mugen program.
I do all my own work(do some work on the side at a local shop)i get some cheap prices on stuff..i could probably to all this for less than 2G..

i'm in the process of welding/fabricating a "badboy hood". i think it would look better on the SiR raised middle type hoods though but oh well.

*oh yeh the EP3 Si 15" 5 split spoke rims are nice, my friend got them on his 91 Escort GT. buahaha i want them.

the only outside mods i'm doing is that wing and hood. thats a m3 style wing. not too high or too low. and maybe trading my fat5s for 03si wheels

that car you posted the only thing i think is done is 3 leg SiR lef spoiler and JDM optional sideskirts. Erebuni had a kit that used that type of side skirt. it's discontinued now.

i'm also guilty of loving them Euro middle center tails with the factory imbedded fog light on 1 side and reverse on the other.

 

that is what makes me really sad..those kits are disc.... now we have to deal with rediculous...over done..too round for the 1980 transformer shape of out cars...they are not new...i wish people would stop trying to make them look like they are....
