205/50/16 will this rub?
I want to get a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE730s in 16" they have 205/50/16.. Im currently running a 205/45/16 with 40mm offset 16" rims and have the car lowered with Eibach sportline springs and Koni yellow shocks on the stock perch settings.
I just want to know if i will have any rubbing or fitment issues before i buy these ... according to bridgestones website (www.bridgestone-usa.com) this is the closest size to what i have now..
thanks in advance for any input...

205/50-16 is about an inch too large in diameter for Integras. The car will sit 1/2" higher, and the fender will be 1/2" closer to the tire. I had this size tire on my old car (replacement for 185/70-14), and those were pretty big. It will also hurt your acceleration, and throw off you speedo and odo (you'll be going faster than what the speedometer shows). I'd stick with 205/45 if I were you. I have 205/50-15 now and it's an exact match for the stock 195/55-15.
Thanks for your reply patrick... i guess that scraps my plans on getting a set of RE730s since they dont make 205/45/16's.. = (..
can anyone recommend a good tire in my size? I currently have Dunlop SP9000's.. should i just get another set since the RE730s dont come in my size?

I have 215/40/16 on 16x7 rims. It's smaller than stock so your speedo is a little off, but it's not much and it doesn't bother me. Plus, since the diameter is a little smaller than stock it lowers the gearing and helps a little with acceleration! I had 205/45/16 on the same rims and I like the 40 series a lot better! Just my opinion but the car just had a better feel. http://www.discounttiredirect.com had yoko A520's on special a while ago in 215/40/16 for $82 each. Pretty good price, it's a nice tire. Just my opinion.
