Is this a Mugen header?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33615
As the title states........Is that a Mugen header attached to that motor?
It says Jasma, but Mugen isn't mentioned. (I really have no idea what Jasma is, but I've only seen it on mugen headers. That's why i'm asking.)
Thanks

My friend has almost the same header that came on his b16. Supposedly Jasma isnt a brand name, its somewhat like our CARB system. On the flange of the header it says FEK, but I couldnt find anything to see if thats a brand or not.
Just a dumb question...but is it normal for the header my friend got to have 2 o2 sensors on the header?

yes, it was probably meant for obd0 b16a which uses two o2 sensors...

I beg to differ. Many exhaust parts that are shipped from Japan have a Jasma label on them... my 5Zigen Fireball exhaust has a JASMA stamp. It looks like a Mugen, with the 3 way design.

Pretty much the same price as hmotorsonline.com........probably cheaper through hmotors considering shipping would be less. And you'll have the company to back up any issues with the product. I was just curious about that header though.

Gotta dispell the misinfo here guys
JASMA is like a California CARB sticker.
Mugen is not known as Showa... they have had their shocks/coilovers made by Showa in the past. Its a shock company... I know for example... the struts holding my rear hatch up are Showa.

So Showa just made some of Mugen suspension components? I heard differently but that was a while back. Showa was probably doing most of Mugen's suspension at the time. As far as Jasma I thought they were a Japanese exhaust manufacture that did designs for other companies such as 5Zigen and Feels.
JASMA= Japanese automotive sports muffler association So that makes it like a CARB?

Use googles website translator. You'll find the translation rough, but it reads like a department of transportation website. With new law info and muffler regulations.

And for the showa stuff... its always just been a shock company. Mugen just had them making specifically valved/setup shocks for them.
