Default Finally bolted up my transmission to my engine and...

I noticed that the flywheel is exposed on the bottom part of the transmission next to the oil pan. Is it suppose to be like that or am I missing a part of the lower transmission? It a YS1 bolted up to a LS/VTEC, thanks.

Mine has a small square opening to the flywheel, Im almost positive it is supposed to be like that for possible heat or drainage purposes or something.

um, yes, there actually is a plate that is supposed to go there. it's not open for any purpose. however, it's ok if you're plate isn't there. i dont have it on mine, and i know several of my friends have left theirs off after a swap.
