My speedo dosent work, did a cluster swap, went from cable to electronic vss. Used a 92-95 civic vss.

I have 3 wires.

Yellow/Blue
Black
Yellow/White

I know black is ground.. and the other 2 are 12V and signal. The question is, which is which. I have searched and found different answers, like the yellow/blue is signal, and others say its 12v

WHICH IS IT?

Yel/Blu - 12v in Run or Start
Blk - ground at thermostat housing
Yel/Wht - speed signal to gauges, cruise and ECU.

I fixed it and it works! Turns out i had the 12V and signal wires switched.
