Default to anybody with a 500whp b16 civic

If anyone here has a 500whp civic could it be possible to tell me what all you did. Cuz i want my 88 hatch to have 500whp cuz central florida turbo has a coupe civic si with 504whp and they have a 240 with 500whp and that thing jumped from cruising along at 60 and buried the tach in like 3 sec.

So thats basically what i want to do in a hatch!

Maybe ask the guys in the forced induction area, I'm sure they could definetely point you in the right direction with turbo trim and stuff.

Those CFT guys are bad ***

Either get a GSR or do a LS/vtec

sleeves, rods, pistons, precesion turbo...20-25psi boost, lots of head work, 750cc+ injectros, fatty intercooler, you can either go with thier microtech management or be smart and run uberdata

and the famous quote comes to mind..

"not a bad way to drop 10 grand" -f&f

You sound like you know **** but Ill tell you what it takes..

The b16 motors ive seen with 500hp only make that power top end..Like 7000-8000rpm,and they have no torque since they're only 1.6..So for the street its overkill..and laggy
My friend has an 88 hatch with a 300hp turbo b18a and that thing is rediculous..Cant ever get traction..Its to much for the street..So imagine 500hp..Then vtec also..You're never gonna get traction..

Get some ductile Iron sleeves
Forged pistons with lower compression ratio
Strong rods
You can leave the head stock if you want..Just dont rev high..(Under 8200rpm)

Get a bigger intake manifold and throttle body..
Get the proper size turbo ..Dont want one that to laggy or one that will loose top-end..
Get some good fuel management and a good tuner..
And use 93 octane for the street and mix in some race gas at the dyno/.

The b16 could get you there.....but liek said above it would all be at the end of the tach. if you are looking for some SERIOUS pouding on the pavement mathematically going with the larger displacement will give you that.
The b16 with some heavy work will get you there.....
just do your work and research right and you get there.....Just remember with numbers that high....TUNING and performance go hand and hand.....
