Default My new 1988 Honda CRX HF!

Well its nothing fancy really. Just thought I gave it a little bit of show because dam this crx is pretty much bone stock and is in great condition for a 17 year old car! The exterior, interior, and even the paint job is original!

And yes that is a sunroof, im not sure if it's stock but I do believe it's aftermarket. Well my plans is just get a jdm d15b, pistons/rods, & booost...!

If anybody has the top peice bra for the hood that would be awesome ! Also looking for 88-89 oem mudflaps! Thank you, all positive and negative comments are welcome!

UPDATE! AFTERSHOTS! 3/06/05

Just 2 quick snaps of my car while I was going to Disneyland today. Thought I'd share.

i love your car, good luck with it and your hf reminds me of mine because mine was originally light blue 88 hf with an aftermarket sunroof that doesnt rool back all the way and only props up a little bit.

You got the lightest of the lightest rexes!!! And it's in good shape. You are lucky. No matter what engine you put in there its going to fly.

wow that's really nice, i saw your wanted ad, and I was gonna offer mine, but I guess I'm too late

But mine is NO WAY NEAR as nice as that one! My 88 HF is gutted and well not as nice as that

But nice find If you don't mind me asking, how much did you snag that for?

DAM!!!! That’s nice. How much did you pay for your REX? I bought my 89 HF last month for $1500 but it does not look nice as yours. ****, because I bought my CRX in Orange County too. BTW what is the mileage? The only good thing for my REX was that it had 105K miles.

Is that a kink in your top radiator hose? Trim that **** an inch or two and get that bend out of there.

Nice car though.

Nice find, I would love a 88 HF.
I got the OEM bra(for the crx and also a civic one) but I could not tell you were it is at the moment.
Go buy a roof skin off a junked crx or from honda and weld it on, aftermarket sunroofs look like ***

Are you positive that's an Hf? That' sunroof looks factory. and the Hf didn't have 16 valves.... Unless that's a swap.....Dude can you check the vin number? If you have a true 88 hf i will be the first to congrats you on the Hf status....I haev only seen a handful of us with HF's on here.....
Take more pics especially when you start working on it. or even if you keep it oem stock.....take more pics anyway.....hahaha

hell yeah, 88 HFs are the ****. That sunroof part kinda sucks, but still its a good car to start with. After owning 2 crx Si's they are nice and all, but its so much nicer to start with the light weight of the 88 HF

NICE!

Actually my first crx I bought a couple years back, I was told it was an 88 DX and I paid I think 1.2k. And well I went over there and checked it out. Later, upon closer inspection it was an 88HF!!! I was stoked! And of course I snagged it quick, then I sold it.

But I got another! That I might end up selling

is the sunroof stuck in or can it be vented and moved out like normal ones?
