Hi,
i am installing an Akai csv-2001 cd reciever in my '90 Honda Accord. I cant figure out how to get the wiring done. The car's wiring connectors are completely different from the wires and connectors i got with the system. Do i need to buy some other types of wires or what? Here's a information about the cd system.

harness for a 90 accord, get it anywhere they sell car stuff.

 

you eitehr get the adapter harness or you get a wiring diagram and butt splice the wires together.

 

oh yeah and i hope you got the 2 year replacement plan....

 

Just go to either Auto Zone, Wal-Mart, etc and buy a wiring harness adapter. It is much easier to install the wiring that way rather than splicing into your factory wiring. If you can't find what you need at the store, Crutchfield sells some pretty good installation kits.

 

Thanks alot for the help. I just went to fry's. they had it for 19.99. i think im going to check ebay. Yeah i could get the diagrams and splice it, but you know its probably better to have a nice and clean install. Thank you all again
