i put a post up about a week ago about my 99 si which just died suddenly. me and my buddy finally got around to look at it last night.. he had a tool to check for spark without takin the plugs out and when we tried it, i have zero spark. i'm hoping its just the dizzy, my cap and rotor are perfect still though.. anything i should double check with my car?
Plz! - i need a new distributor for b16a2 if anyone has one lemme know ill pick it up off ya right away

take the dizzy cap off and have someone watch the rotor button while you crank it over. if it spins then i have no clue. if it doesnt, there is a small screw you will have to tighten
You don't need to get a new distributor. Inside there is a ignitor which is probably the problem. Replace that and that should fix it. It will save you big $$$.
Take the coil off and take it to autozone...they can check it for you with an Ohm meter and tell you what the reading are...If they are off the coil is gone...My car also just shut off and it turned out to be my coil.
