because I have it bolted to the block and my left side cv (91 integra)seems to stick out too far
I can't get my ball joint back in
even with both sides of the cv all the way compressed it still sticks out way too far
the cv is 23.5" long I went to napa and checked two other shafts they were both the same length
what could be up?

You will need different axles then. Let me see if I can find the info for ya.

Nope, but it looks like you will need the SIR axles if you use that intermediate shaft.

You might want to try getting a 90-93 Integra non abs Manual Intermediate shaft (AKA jack shaft, AKA half shaft) so you can still use your axles.
