Default Critical things to check after completely rebuilding your motor with a new block?

I keep getting the feeling that im forgetting something everytime I finish one area and start the next. What are some crucial things I should triple check before actually starting the motor? These are some of the things I have so far:
rotate motor several times using crank pulley and make sure crank/cams at TDC
timing - cam, ignition, distributor
belt tension
crank pulley torque
valve lash adjustment
plug gaps and plug wire connections
top off fluids
coolant and gasket leaks (probably not until after the motor is started)

Feel free to add to this. Thanks

I would plastigauge the rod and mains just to make sure the tolerance is to spec. I'd also make sure you have hondabond between oil pickup mounting flange, so you don't suck air into the oil pump.

Just out of curiosity, how long do you run the engine after starting it for the first time like that?

I ran mine for 30 minutes and then changed the oil and filter. We then let the motor cool down and adjusted the valves again. After that she went out on her maiden voyage.
