boost
usually for any intercooler installation, since it is a custom part, you have to do some cutting and fabrication. Also, what intercooler are you going to be using (dimensions will help), cause there are about a million different sizes available.
i really dont kno yet dats why im lookin around 2 see which intercooler would fit best. right now i have a ls vtec in my crx and i really like it a lot but i kinda like the boost feelin better.
what compression are you running in the ls/vtec...
get the biggest intercooler you can find... especially since you will probably be needing a bigger turbo since you have a b-series.
check out jrc intercoolers... do a search and you should find some threads on it here. He makes some nice stuff that fits relatively well on a crx.

well im not gona boost da lsvtec. its pretty good compression my dyno run showed 191 to da wheels i also ran it at da track and ran a 13.55 on street tires while hittin on the brakes becuz i was runnin in a bracket racin event and didnt want to break my time. im puttin in a b16 wit da head i have in my lsv. hopefully i can make some nice numbers i jus bought a greddy e manage and i was planin on takin out da lsv and breakin in da b16 while i search 4 a turbo kit.
You do realize that honda-tech.com has a built in spell check. If you're too ******* stupid to communicate like a normal person, then nobody is going to help you're dumb ***.
Thanks,

WOW YOU GUYS ARE RUTHLESS. I do agree with what you are saying. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Sikocivic »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> "wit", "becuz", "da" and "im" mean. I can't understand you. </TD></TR></TABLE> NEEDS TO STOP.
But for the B16 VS the B18. You have an LSVtec. You have the best possible motor to boost. Do not switch to a B16, you are down grading bud. I have a B16 that I am going to boost but that is ONLY because I have 3 B16 blocks in my garage. If I had to choose I would use the B18, but I have not found one around St. Louis for under 500 that is complete. Anyway work on your spelling and getto type and GOOD LUCK with your CRX.

see the thing is that my lsv is high compression and i dont want to boost that on the other hand the b16 block i have is built for boost pretty much. i mean i already know what a b16 motor can do on boost my friend stock b16 on boost ran 13 flat on a bone stock motor.

Im pretty sure they don't teach ricer ebonics in Florida. Either way there is a spell check built into the website for those that are too ******* stupid to use proper grammar. That being said, the b16 is also a high compression motor as well. You will make more power with the ls vtec vs. the b16a but you will probably have to change out the pistons and rods, and rod bearings, the cost might not be worth it. The b16 should be good for 10psi depending on the size of the turbo you use, etc...
