Default Buying New Tires

So im gonna buy a new set of summer tires, and i have narrowed it down to 4 different ones. i would just like your opinions on whatever tire is better for a daily driving and weekend racer. i would like them to last about 2 summers if possible.
i also have a set of r comps for the track if that helps with the decision.

Falken Azenis Sport
Yokohama ES100
Toyo T1-S
Kumho MX
thanks for any help

if you have a winter set and only plan on using the new tires during summer, i'd say get the falken azenis. i currently use kumho 711s for winter and think they're a great tire.

Ive run both the falken's and the es100's and would have to go with the falkens above all. They are cheap price wise, hold traction great, and even track well in the rain (contrary to popular belief) .

yeah, i know kind of an understatement....

but what i have learned w/ the tires is... the more you rotate them, they dont seem to get as noisy.....don't know why, just my experience.....

my friend has a set on his ls and he has never rotated them and they are loud as hell.....

If you already have tires for the track.. I would consider tires that will last longer than azenis for daily driving.

I have a set of es100's on my prelude and I'm really happy w/them, performance wise. Wear wise they seem to be doing ok, but I have a few friends who ate them up rather quickly.

the es100's are good, but dont have the stability or grip compared to the azenis.

I would go the azenis r0ute

Yokohama is getting ready to release the Advan AD07 in North America; it's already on their website.

Read this post from a previous topic for an excellent summary of the leading options.

Since you care about longevity and you have separate tires for the track, I would go with the ES100.

If you're going to be using them in the rain some or noise is an issue, I'd say ES100's, the Falkens if not.

Going off of what I previously said, if you alrady have a set of dedicated track tires go with the es100's no doubt; that is what I daily drive on.

Rubs?

or did you mean to say "rock" for some reason again?

I don't know what size you're referring to but 205/50/15's don't rub. They can be a bit noisy though.

Refer to Ken's link for a description:

OEM RE010 if you are running stock size wheels.
