Default Question about high mounts

does all high mount slip-ons required for you to cut the factory pipe?

i got 04 gsxr750 and was wanting to get a high mount for it. I notice on the facotry system that the only connection is at the muffler where its bolted to a flange.

There should be another connection at the midpipe (just after the headers). You may have to remove your bottom plastic for easier access.

you shouldn't have to cut anything. But if you do get a hi-mount I would get carbon fiber if you plan on putting anyone on the back....
