Default b16a swap into a 1989 CRX HF

b16a complete swap for $2500 everything i need to install, but i have a 1989 crx HF! i hear that other ppl have to swap there front hubs with dx or si's, is that right! and prob. new brakes setup. (calipers and rotors etc.) what else do i need!

the complete b16a comes with:
tranny
motor mounts
exedy clutch
shift linkage
ecu pw0
axles
etc.

also i see that ppl use LS tranny in a b16a swap in there CRX's! are the LS tranny have better gear ratio! better than the stock b16 tranny?

let me know! thanks!

Yeah you need dx or si hubs..

And the ls tranny is the worst longest geared b-series tranny and its sucks for acceleration...The b16 tranny is one of the shortest..Real good for acceleration..But when your in 5th gear doing like 60mph your at like 5000rpm..So it sucks for gas milaage..So what a lot of peeps do is they put an ls 5th gearset into the b16 tranny to get a the long 5th gear for the highway cruising and less engine noise,,etc..but still have the short 1-4 gearing

And $2500 is to much man..you're getting ripped

88-91 sir B16a,tranny,ecu,etc..--$1250 (hmotorsonline.com)
Motor mount kit --$275 shipped (azracemachine.com)
Shift linkage--$95 shipped (azracemachine.com)
Exedy clutch--$100-$120 (Ebay.com)
90-93 integra axles and intermediate shaft--Around $100(Prices vary but they're cheap..)

So thats 1250+275+95+120+(Lets say $100 for axles) ==$1840

Saves you alot of money that you can invest into the motor or car..

Sorry I didnt know that was the installed price,,

$2500 installed is a pretty good price considering the outrageous labor prices from some shops....
