Hello,

I'm trying to replace my bent antenna mast with an oem replacement mast.
I have run into a problem, the antenna nut will not come off, it just spins in place like it's stripped.

What can I do?

Can I replace the antenna mast from below through the trunk?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Whats happening is the whole antenna body is turning in the trunk as you are turning the nut. I had this happen to me as well. Ended up dremeling the nut off and replacing the whole antenna mast and motor. A tip though - if you indeed replace the whole thing, when you screw on the new nut, place a little anti-seize of petro-jelly on the threads.
