Default Ej/Eg Weight Differences

I'm wondering besides the added size of the frame and the extra motor weight. What makes a 92-95vx/cx hatch so much lighter then a 92-95ex coupe? My coupes a pig and I want to put it on a diet.

It's been covered quite a few times in this forum, just search the archives.
But brakes, sunroof, power window/locks, etc add to the mix.

EJ is a none hatch car which has a weight difference between a EG. If you check the EG and DC, length is almost the same, but the EG round it off at the back and DC hatch extended further back. EJ might a little more than the EG.

wow, are you retarded, that was the worst post I've ever read. How the hell could you even read that let alone know what you were saying.

But yea like redrez said, the added options add weight otherwise they'd be pretty close.

No one seems that have pointed out that the coupes, in reality, aren't THAT much heavier then the hatches to begin with.
