I'm getting a new gas tank for my ej1 ex model and I'm wondering if a smaller vx tank will bolt up without and problems? Is the weight difference from the 11.9gallon to the 10 gallon worth it?

 

IMHO no. You'll have to fill up noticeably more.

P.S. Sorry about those jackstands.

 

why dont u just fill up 1.9 gallons less and save yourself the money and trouble...just a thought

Because his car fell off of it's jackstands and one went through his gas tank.

 

Yeh he knows whats up the jackstand put a nice hole in the tank due to a small mudslide haha. I'm kinda a weight freak. I never put anymore then $10-15 bucks in my gas tank at a time anyway. The weight I was looking to save wasn't from the less gas I put in the car but more the weight savings in the weight of the metal tank itself.
