Mine is a V8. They have put VVTi into the V8 for 05 so it got a nice hp boost. The 4Runner is up to 270hp, 282hp is for the Tundra. I think the old engine has been doing an excellent job on towing, but the extra hp would sure be nice.

Noice, I had seen 282 for the Tundra and Sequoia figured the 4Runner had the same but 270 is still a pretty nice bump. I'm hoping to pick up a used Tundra this summer for daily driving and towing :fingers crossed:

bag of clothes, and foot wear & hat.
toiletry items.
some caR cleaning stuff. (rainX)
cell phone and charger.
two way radios.
some sort of folding chair.

many other things but not able to think of any more right now.
