alright guys I dont know dick about ls/vtecs but im going to check out a motor tommorow for a really good deal. $1500 to be excat and what should i check out? and what should compression numbers be? the motor is outta the car if this helps. thanks guys

based on c-speed my compression is 11.9 not sure how true it is

b16 head, b18a block, b16 pistons, 2 layer gasket

 

my compression was 12.6 GSR head, B18A block CTR pistons
