Default Guide to going international, yo!

1. go to track days

2. go to more track days

3. meet rich people

4. befriend rich people

5. ask to drive their cars you can't afford

6. take pictures of you in them

7. post a review of the car as if you owned one.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so, the 360 Modena is awesome. [add generic handling comment]. it does [add more generic handling comments] really well. It does kinda have an issue with [add some generic comment about the shifter or the radio and compare it to another expensive car you've driven...if it's the shifter, ALWAYS compare it to the S2000]</TD></TR></TABLE>

sorry for the pic quality. Ferraro 360 Modena just moved up a notch on my Favourite Cars of All Time list (it was 4th):

1. 93-98 Supra
2. Lotus Elise
3. Ferrari 360 Modena
4. Porsche Speedster
5. Honda CRX (hey, i bought one cause i like them)

I drove a 550 Maranello once ..... I must be internationizzle too

oh and the review... compared to my Civic, the gearbox was a bit notchy. And it had a tendancy to want to step out the rear on me, and when it did that it had a bright light on the dash that said something about traction control or something. My Civic never does that .... but in all seriousness the V12 sounds sooo f*ing good whe you step on the gas

oh man, not that guy. I saw the gumball dvd and there was a lot of footage of him in his brabus benz. Man, that guys was so annoying. I'd probably wanna punch the guy after about 10 seconds of conversation with him. Talk about a stuck up snob that is compensating big time with his $$$.

You forgot ...

8, When owner of said exotic says you may not drive his car, lament over the internet about how great of an opportunity he missed out on, and how much you could have taught him.

I saw some type of "money makeing machine..." looks like and automated stock broker program that "buys low and sells high."

Maybe he is and if he "earned" his money not a silver spoon handed to him my hats off to him. BUT successful or no I always find offensive and "low class" people that are over the top "braggarts" and have to jump up and down (his "look at me" pictures/website) to show everyone just HOW rich they are. He says he wants to inspire people with it but that is well, BS.

I grew up next door to someone who was self made (started poor) and was listed in the Forbes 400 richest several times in his life. He owned corporations with household names. His tranoceanic jet (and he has multiple jets) makes Kimbles look pretty measley (maybe his is a citation). BUT while the guy may live in the very rich part of town and have various homes, he was never a big "look at me, look at what I bought it cost $$$$). Hell I didn't know he was big buddies with LBJ while he was president (as in fishing and hunting buddies and would fly to LBJ's ranch) because he didn't talk about it. Didn't need to. I only learned half of his achievements when he wrote an autobiography when he got older. A fine read too.

REAL money is more subtle than that guy's website. But then I think of Donald Trump as being a look at me huckster too. Only thing I can figure about this kimble guy is he is trying to compensate for being really obese and probably has the urge to overcompensate.

yeah but everyone loves the NSX Files around here ..... oh wait, you're talking about Kimble ... sorry

I don't know if he's completely "self made", but he started some sort of network security company and that's where he makes all his money. I guess it's bad to brag, but whatever. He has enough $$$ to have fun with his life, and we're all jealous

while i wouldn't mind the money, i can't say that i'm jealous at all of bad taste.

barry brings up a good point though, all of this flamboyant self aggrandizing "combien d'argent" is soooooooooo nouveau riche.

Good thing you admitted it - here I was thinking that standing in all those sour grapes over the NSXFiles had finally gone to your brain.

I mentioned it because lots of people cry about Kimble being a rich fool, but then everyone here praises the NSXFiles, I bet if it were the 360Files and you changed ever mention of an NSX to Ferrari 360 people oh H-T would be hating it too. I think both are equally arrogant, so I don't go to the sites.

"Hey look at me I'm rich" or "Hey look at me I'm rich" The issue isn't that they race in the street or track, yet that they're both "over the top braggarts" as someone else put it.

Well....it's official! I have registered for the Ultimate Rally! I am having a little trouble coming up with the entry fee....The correspondence from "Kimble" are priceless....He is in full support of having an "underdog" team in the event to "spice" things up. I entered my 1990 Honda civic.

.....and he actaully had the nerve to refer to my car as a "shitty" car.....bastard!
