A/C sucks, but you can make it work no problem. You may have to have the system recharged and buy some extra parts. My B16A came with the A/C condensor still on it. We used it for engine swap anger managment, all you need is a sledge hammer, LOL!
If it is easy to keep then I don't see the point of leaving it out. It has almost no parasitic loss when it is off, and it really doesn't weigh that much. But you lose your nice cool a/c and some or your resale value.

Well one thing I considered when stripping the back seats/seatbelts, spare tire, trunk liner, sound deadining, firewall insulation and AC was resale value. Then I was like **** THAT, I'm droppin all this $CHA CHING$ in my baby I'm never selling Desiree. If I, God forbid, total it, the next cleanest EG will work for me. I live in Chicago so I get plenty of nice cool air in winter, so I don't want it in summer. I use Polish AC, drop the windows and do 80. Plus I was able to knock roughly 320lbs off the weight of the car after removing all the girly BS. For a daily driver, maybe keep it. If you want power, whack it all.
