Battery Relocation in NASA Honda Challenge
Does anyone know if it is legal to relocate the battery in the NASA Honda Challenge?
The NASA CCR (11.4.9) says that "Any battery located inside the driver's compartment should be fully covered and firmly secured to the chassis (or tub) in a marine type battery case"
Does that imply that it is legal to move the battery?
Thanks!

D'oh. This way my bad. He asked me and I didn't see it in the rules, so I told him to post here. Actually its rule 9.7f in the rule book that honda-challenge.com links to.

Jeff -- Was there something unreasonable about asking? I missed it in the rules.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not really. The problem is that most people don't check the rules first. Actually, there are quite a few of them who never seem to check them at all. This being before the start of the season makes us - angry. If you made an honest attempt, then I guess he, & I, might have jumped to an early conclussion.
You gotta admit, it was pretty damn funny.
