Wishes? Sure I wish. Of course I wish that if there was a WCHC that NorCal and Oregon and Washington would have race dates. And I wish I could beat Andy. But we can wish for things all we want and it doesn't make them come true. It takes hard work, the overcoming of obstacles, and probably cheating (for me to beat Andy).

Scott, who is hoping his new suspension linkage that converts body roll into increased weight transfer to the inside wheels will help him beat Andy - well, that and a HiTech header......

Uhm... What exactly are we voting for? I wish there was a WCHC, but I don't wish Andy would win it (is Sites your last name?).

hmm.. your right. I think I have been talking with Rinde too much lately, and its beginning to affect me.

I hear that happens Andrew. Try not to stare directly into the light.

Oh yeah, I'd like to see it happen as well. I don't mean the "new suspension linkage that converts body roll into increased weight transfer to the inside wheels" gizmo, because that just means I'll have to waive Scott by all the time (like I wouldn't have to now anyway ).

Actually, I hear that Scott Rinde works as a mild mannered reporter for a local news paper by day. By night he engineers parts that he hopes someday will eliminate weight transfer... and he rids the world of evil too.

Andy, who once saw Scott walk into a phone booth and come out in a 3-layer, red and blue race suit with a cape!

It's funny when his cape gets caught in the door. If you see it stuck there, don't tell him.

If you look closely at his glasses, you will notice that they have no lenses! This is because he use to constantly melt the lenses when cutting pieces of aluminium and steel when fabricating parts with his laser vision.

Rumor has it that he is working on an engine that is powered by nothing more than his thoughts of self gratification!

What happened?

I would go out and buy a car tomorrow (don't think the wife would take too kindly to me chucking a roll cage in the LS ) if there was something like that here, especially if it got the response it seems to be getting over there.

Hehe....a butt injury?

When my cape gets stuck you can see my butt.....hehe

Scott, who uses his superpowers to transient thru physics to acheive reactive kinematic virtual CG height below ground, and in his spare time disseminates disinformation regarding horsepower and dynos so as to confuse the marketplace and further my goal of having all the extra but unmeasurable propulsive forces to myself.....I'm quite mad you know....

ZOOOOOOOOOOM

thats the sound of that last statement going right over my head

I bet if there was a WCHC there would be a lot more hybrid involvement, I know there would be plenty of interested people from the Hybrid board

Funny, I've been trying to explain the role of self-gratification in transients for some time, and now suddenly it's like everybody is all "yeah, dat's wat dat is". I figure that at absolute zero dyno measured whp, the biggest self-gratifier will accelerate the hardest.

Scott, who doesn't know if the Comp board knows what this is all about....I must seem kinda weird....

Umm.. if I remember the discussion properly... transients are more self-gratifyingly propulsive if there are more elevation changes, right?

Of course then there's the whole issue of transient response in the cold.. around here, in the cold, all the transients try to find shelters or sleep on the vents that exhaust hot air up from the subways or steam piping or whatever.

Scott, I actually DO understand what you're saying, however... if the competition forum didn't think you were a superhero, we'd think you were a mad scientist. Or at the least, someone hell bent on very scientifically approaching theoretical improvement of motion control linkage on a Mad Skillz Yellow sporting coupe.

Hey, I needed four stiches when building the ghetto racer. I would be in for a WCHC. Of course, being a selfish bastard, I would like to use the three N. CA tracks (Laguna, Sears, Thunderhill) in the series. That way, I wouldn't have to travel too much.

Selfish, slow, ghetto race car driving .....Mike

No stitches. The bracket-to-floor wasn't lining up so I used a and hit my . I remember saying something like; , but then after I got it in, I was ok and looked like this .

John -- who's never used this many emotioncons in a post before and thinks Scott needs more coffee.
