Default EF b series mounts question... Yonoka brand

I was just curious with these mounts, as to where they hook up on the b16 motor I do not have yet? I put the numbers on there so someone can respond with something like 1= side tranny mount or whatever they are. thanks!

1 rear mount
2 tranny mount
3 driver side mount

Is this a JDM B16 motor? I know for sure that a 90-93 Teg engine side bracket and a 90-93 Teg rear Bracket works with most mount kits. Not sure if you can use the JDM B16 driver bracket or rear bracket though. I dont like how the rear mount looks though. The rear crossmember is curved, and mostmount kits have rear mounts that are shaped to match the contour of the rear crossmember.

Here is a pic of my HCP rear mount attached to the 90-93 Teg rear bracket. You'll notice the rear of the mount is lower then the front of the mount. BTW dont pay any attention the the sircle, this is an old pic.

yes its a jdm motor. are you saying that I need different brackets to bolt the mounts to the motor? I saw someone on here somewhere got this same kit and said they worked out okay so I went with that, despite the lack of curving that the major brand mounts have, but I did consider that part.

also, on JDMshit.com they said something about notching the rear subframe... "Notch rear subframe lip underneath rear mount. This will insure that the rear tranny bracket does not touch the chassis, thus causing vibration." would that be a solution to the rear bracket thing?

actually I need to go to the motor place and see if that bracket is even included on the swap... a ton of stuff is hacked up/off and the tps is busted.... and I don't remember that bit.

Aboutthe JDM B16 brackets you'll have to ask somebody else. I had a 95 GSR motor and I had to get brackets seperately and DA brackets are easier to get. If your JDM B16 comes with the SiR brackets I *think* you can use them.

The part about your rear mount that I dont like is how it has a flat base with the little round thing on the bottom. It looks like your rear mount uses one bolt for the rear and two for the front. That part on the rear mount with the cylinder thing on the bottom looks like it goes towards the rear. And what that site said about bending hte lip down for the rear bracket is correct. If you dont bend it down enough like they said it will touch the chassis and cause vibration.

The JDM civic SiR brackets will work as will the 90-93 integra brackets. The only time you need to change brackets is if you have an OBD1+ engine.

okay sweet. I just need to check out that engine again to see if it has a good bracket or not.
