Question for the gearheads
These are getting installed i my OBD1 GSR
ITR intake and exhaust cams
Skunk2 mani
Skunk2 cam gears
ITR intake and exhast valve springs
USDM ITR pistons
Crower ti retainers
b16 TB bored to 66 MM
VAFC
Ported and Polished head
Mugen Head gasket
My question is this, should I go with CTR pistons instead? Will the 12.2 CR be too high for 92 or 94 Octane?
I baselined at 152 HP with AEM intake and Greddy Evo exhaust, how much power do you think the above setup will produce (along with DC 4-2-1 headers)
I plan on selling the 4-2-1 to acquire a JDM DC 4-1 and a carsound cat, I was uneducated when I bought the 4-2-1

12.2 CR won't be too high for 92 or 94 octane. If you have the option go for the 94 obviously.
I'm not sure if you're gonna have clearance problems or not with those ctr pistons. But that is gonna be one helluva set-up once everything is installed and tuned. Good luck
