hey im new to the honda cars (had a '04 600rr) just had a quick question what can i swap in place of a b16 i just bought a '90 integra with a blown motor and need to swap it any input would be great and if this is the wrong spot to post this sorry like i said im new to the forum

 

Alot of things.....cheapest...a b18a or b, AKA LS motor....or if you like VTEC and have a lot more cash, you can get a b18c1 AKA GSR motor...and if you take it just a step further, a b18c5 motor AKA type-R motor would fit also...WHEW....yea.... or you can get a b16a3 or h22....depends on what you are going for really. more info would be nice. DA's(90-93tegs) can fit alot of motors..

 

When you asked me this question on 2kc, I thought you meant what engine came with it stock Yeah, there are TONS of options here...what are you looking for in the end? What are your future modding goals? Turbo? NA? Stock? It'll help us pinpoint what you should look for, but I believe even swapping engines doesn't take that much modification, does it? If it's not a direct bolt in thing, there are tons of conversion kits out there...it's a lot easier with a Honda than any other type of car - so much aftermarket support :D
