my www.luminicsbulbs.com review
damn, i have been gettin my *** kicked lately between work, school, and the pipe breaking in my garage forcing me to replace a ton of drywall
havent even had the time to post on HT these days... boooooo
anyway, without further fanfare, here is my (delayed) review of these great bulbs
"got some new bulbs, i have been wanting to try some yellow bulbs in my bike for awhile now to get the same benefits that you do with yellow fog lamps, but without attaching big ol ugly fog lamps on my bike.
so i got a set of bulbs from http://www.luminicsbulbs.com they offer a great "JDM Yellow" bulb that is right in between a strong amber fog lamp and a pure white bulb (2500k to be exact).these bulbs are 60/55 watt, so they are brighter than the stock VFR bulbs, but dont pull much more wattage at all. they cost less than the silverstars, and cost WAY less than PIAAs, but they are right on par with both quality-wise
unfortunately, honda used their own key for the bulbs, as you can see in this picture. the stock honda is on the right, and a standard H4 on the right. to make em fit you take a pair of needle nose pliers, and carefully bend the tabs at the bottom back, leaving the top tab in tact. you can also just cut them off, but bent back they still make contact with the housing and add a bit of stability.

be VERY careful not to touch the bulb, the oils from your skin will cause a hotspot on the bulb and kill it prematurely. i used latex gloves when handling the bulb just in case.
here you can see the bulb difference itself, the bulb is a bit bigger, and you cant see it here, but the filament itself is way beefier than the stock bulbs

here is the difference in color, i found it very difficult to take any good pics of the color change at all
stock:

Luminics:

here is the color of the pattern. again its really hard to take a decent pic of the color change, the yellows look dimmer, when in reality they are definitely brighter.
stock:

Luminics:

after running both yellows for awhile, i decided to do what my original plans were, run one white, one yellow. in this picture you can see the yellow is brighter, it just "lights up" more in the housing

i like the effect alot, the light pattern mixes really well, and the light pattern looks just like a car with white headlights and high wattage, yellow fog lamps. when you pull up behind a car, you can really see how much brighter the Luminics bulb is, its very hard to tell with my pictures. the stock VFR bulb looks dim now, and i plan on getting another set of the "Hyper White" as soon as i have some extra cash. they also make a "Ultra Violet" that i have seen picture of, and it makes a cool HID look.
i have had this bulb in for almost a month now i think, and i highly recommend these bulbs. they make bulbs for cars and bikes, you can see the fitment guide at http://www.luminicsbulbs.com
oh, ya, i am not affiliated with this company at all, just wanted to give a review of this product and all that."
and thanks scott!
