Default Sluggish feel. help!!

After installing my itr cams about three weeks ago, everything was great for about two weeks. Then, all of a sudden, my car seemed to have lost a considerable amount of torque within the matter of a day or two.

When going through the gears, it seemed like the RPMs went up accordingly, but the car itself felt like it was going nowhere. The idling still remains the same. After the first week, the idling was jumping from 300-1,000. But my friend says that is normal with cams.

So, i have about 81k miles on my 98 gsr and the mods are: itr cams, intake, exhuast.

The clutch is feeling weak but i don't think thats the source of the problem, or entirely it. I've done a couple searches and it could be a bad o2 sensor? Im not sure.

If anyone has any help to give me i'd greatly appreciate it.

thanks

That is not normal with ITR cams. The lift and duration of those cams should not dramatically affect your idle.

No CEL codes? Have you checked your oil level? I remember when I was running really low on oil, I noticed a significant loss of power. Plus vtec needs a certain amount of oil, so if vtec is not kicking, I would look into that. Did you do a valve adjustment after you installed the cams?

Yeah...I'd check the valve spacing. I forgot what the stock spacing should be, though.

Could it be the ecu? I might just replace it with somethings else. Does anyone have any suggestions for a new ECU?
