Have you checked your throttle body and the throttle cable and made sure they are both functioning properly?

 

yes i did. the strange thing is the car just does not hold steady except at idle like i said earlier it revvs thruogh rpms all the way with no prob when i try to drive it it will go through all the gears fine and when i hit top gear and want to cruise it surges rather vilently???? no clue don't care any more. thank you
