Well if you already have it, why not put it on. Get a good tuner and you can pick up a few hp.

i suggest a tuner or someone that has had theirs tuned, you can copy and see how it works

few ppl on s2ki.com could get you those. problem is you will not know if its working for you unless you dyno tune it

why would you want the vtec hit harder?? this will just mean you have a dip right before vtec kicks in.. so you'll have a sligh loss of power for a split second.....

you're supposed to want the vtec crossover to be as smooth as possible...

by hit harder, i belive he meant hit earlier...like lower vtec crossover

still wouldn't hit harder.... it would switch sooner.. but if you lower it to kick in lower you might as well flatten out the curve so you dont have that dip in power..... therefore you really won't feel the vtec kick in as much....

thats for the tuner to do. i think he is just trying to get the most hp out of his motor with vafc

if thats all he wants to do... then just lean out the air/fuel ratio up top after 8600rpm.... and get rid of that little dip up top....

if he knows how to do, i'd just take it to a reputable tuner

you can do it now and then redo it when you get the IHE. you have lots of options for IHE. it really depends on your budget. Intakes range from 275 to over 2k. headers 600-2k+. exhuasts from 400 to 2k+

BOOSTEDS2K used to have a vafc2 in his s2000 before he went turbo, we got +4hp to the wheels when we dynoed it.

have a tuner install it and zero it out. then get your i/h/e and then have it tuned.
ive see an ITR Dynoed one day, 5 runs, one stock, one with just exhaust, one with exhaust/intake, one with i/h/e and one with all of them and tuned with VAFC, saw a 30 Hp gain
