Whats his face has them on his R and might be wanting to get rid of them since he's selling it to whats his face.
Try to give both of them a call and see if they want to sell them.
I might be by the shop tomorow to plan for my next little test I'm gonna try. Remember that one item you wanted to get but didn't want to do it because of possible problems, etc... I'm gonna try one on my car next week to see how it goes.

Did you happen to fax the cost to me? I sent you my number twice by email. I will try to give you a call tomorrow, but it is hard with my work schedule and time difference.

 

Do you want the headlight assembly, or do you want the HID's? Or do you want both the balast, bulbs, and headlights?

I thought Mike Y. bought Mike M.'s car with the headlights? Anyways I dont think Mike Y. wants to sell them. (Damn, there are too many people named Mike)
Anyways I need to get a price quote on paper for Insurance reasons first, than after all the damn paperwork will they give me the check to get them, maybe.

Cool, if you can get the glove box to work with it, I will get one also. Where did you find one here in the states? Or rather Do they have another one in stock and how much is it going to cost?

All I really need is the HID headlight housing, but the thing is, I need the price quote on paper from a shop for insurance reasons. I have already let the insurance company know that it might not be possible that any shop will part out their set and just sell housing by itself.

 

wait what! Did I miss something? What happened to the R? Why are you contacting insurance? Did the car get messed up or something?
Also what I was talking about is somthing totally different then what your thinking.
I'm talking about that one mod. that you wanted to do, but was worried about possible engine damage after time. I'm gonna try one for my car and use it for awhile. Then in Spring we will look and see if it did any harm or not.
Oh yeah I figured that Mike Y. or Mike M. would want to sell it maybe to bring the cost down some or to make some money back. Figure one of them could sell them for like $800 or so, then buy some normal JDM headlights for like $400 or so and make some money back, etc...

the complete JDM HID housing w/bulbs, ballast units that attach to the headlight cost an arm and a leg.. i was thinking about getting them for mine.. but i'm happy with my lexus IS300 HID's.. go DENSO hehehehe

Actually the Lexus IS300 has one of the WORST HID beam patterns I have seen. A Benz H7 halogen puts out more light on the road than the Lexus/Toyota system does. However, the GS300/400 and new LS430/SC430 have very good HID systems.

 

yeah thanks for the compliment... i first had the stock bulbs that are made for the OEM JDM and they blow.. for 300 bucks i've spent it could have been better.. the cutoff isnt as clear as the OEM HID's since that projector is not even made for HID's but it looks hella lot better then philips.
