confused on building a b16 help
i am getting so many different responses on building my b16 so please help me make a decision . well i have a crx hf that i just swapped a b16 into and i bought it off a guy i know and when i got it up and ruining found out that it burns oil so i figure instead of just replacing them i could do some preformance stuff to
i was thinking that i would put in ctr pistons rod bearings hone the cylinder and maybe some gsr cams
but other people say that it would not make a differance that i should replace the rings, a thinner head gasket to bump the compression and itr cams differant people have differant suggestion's all i now is that i want a strong allmotor setup that makes a good bit of power . please help me understand what i should do thanks for the help guys .
also how much power should my b16 in 91 crx with full interior and i\h\e\
thanks for the help guys

ok before you get flammed and whatnot....
If it burns oil....fix that first....
CTR pistons would be really nice...but get the ctr cams too...way more aggressive.....even more then the DC5
Power......Full interior in an hf....with new b16a.....and bolt ons
I say like 150-155hp....and 113ft/lbs....You will have fast car.....and with lots of tunning.....run like low 14's high 13's.
anyway......it's fast.....but you won't "smoke" everyone....you'll clown on people all day....but a really good motor will give you a run for your money.

CTR Cams, CTR pistons, and a good header is a GOOD place to start. Although if i were to ever build another b16 i would d0 the ls crank/rods and the TECH43inc piston kit. 1.9l b16 and it will easily make 200whp. Theres a guy with a mild Omniman built one for a road course car making 230hp on i believe, not sure, all OEM internals aside from pistons of course.
