Default Goodbye Homemade Turbo Setup.. New Setup (PICS)

Well this year my goal is to have a 11sec crx, and the homemade turbo setup just isnt going to get me their. This will be my final setup on my car, I will be using this setup with my Fully Built ZC.

My new turbo, t3/t4 hybrid A/R .70 compressor with a .48 exhaust.

Drag Manifold with external gate

TiAL Wastegate 35mm

I made a new section on my website with this stuff prices etc.. http://www.homemadeturbo.com/t3race.html

Any Comments are welcome...

But before I complete this kit I will be doing 1 last homemade setup, using a 300zx turbo/STD manifold on a Mini-Me that I am throwing together..

you will need to have the wastegate where it can recieve flow from all four cylinders.with it on one cylinder you will have boost creep problems.

Hmm this is my first External gate setup, and I didnt know that boost creep was going to be a problem with the external gate being on 1 runner. I could just make myself a new manifold but I thought that the DRAG Manifold is one of the more popular manifolds that is being used?

Plan on running 12 on the street and 18~20 at the track. But thats just a guess, I really dont know how the car is going to react to that much boost, I am just going to kinda play with it this year to get a feel for everything.

I picked up the turbo from MJM turbos, bought it off of Ebay, this is the 2nd t3/04e I have got from them, they are really nice.

Hey, Abaz nice "new" setup..i have a friend that has a fully built zc by bensons w/ a t3/t04e turbo, 550cc's controlled by the old accell dfi unit and he put out 305 at the wheels at 18psi..and he ran a 12.61 at carlsbad...he couldve ran faster but his LSD broke on one side and he lost control of the car and almost hit the wall...but, so far his car is pretty fast..he should be running in the 11's soon. i dont know if he updated his site lately, but here it is..you can ask him about his setup and stuff like that.. http://www.turbosean.8k.com
