Default 91 crx hf w/ b16a1 & bolt-ons VS 98 gsr w/ jdm itr b18c

hey, before you flame me for asking a stupid question, and giving me answers like:
"Go race and find out"
that's exactly what i/we are going to do (at a 1/4 mile track) but first i figured i could get some replies because maybe you've seen these 2 cars race before.
i realize the gsr/itr has the displacement/power/torque advantage, but the b16a1 has a nice custom 4-2-1 header, straight 2.25 inch pipe (no cat), and usdm itr intake manifold & throttle body, along with a Golden Eagle fuel rail. the 'rex will be lightened w/ cf hood and fenders, sparco sprint seats.
well, whatever, flame away if you want, if you are an e-thug, abut understand that i am not a bench racer, i am just looking for some feedback before the actual race.
thanks.

sorry to bust the bubble....but a b16a with minor bolt ons will not smoke the ITR18....just won't happen. even the weight difference.
I have a 90 crx hf...and i barely take b18c1 motors. and i've got a great exhaust setup and the best bseries tranny you cang et a GSR ys-1 con LSD. So i don't think so. unless you gut the living **** out of your crx and you do some serious tunning...and race gas....prolly...
good luck...
san diego love.....take it to the Q on the 18th....and get your times done....

ok, thanks.
what might help is tha fact that the other guy isn't a great driver, and i will take out everything within reason. but he prolly will too.
i don't know how many people were in the gsr and it was just a highway pull, but my 88 hatch w/ me and a 200 lb passenger with shitty running stock b16a1 was dead even with a gsr on the highway.
well, however it goes down, this is his only chance to smoke me, b/c i will be adding boost in a matter of months.
